More About Steve

Long-term CEO Collective Member and Strategic Leader client, Steve Munroe has over 23 years of experience as a CEO having founded and grown three technology companies as CEO, Triumph Technologies, Triumph Development and SanBlaze. Recognized as a fast growth company CEO, Steve is a 5 time INC. 500 winner.

Steve has direct owner/founder CEO experience scaling organizations from 1 person to 25 (Sanblaze) to over 100 (Triumph).  He has driven revenue from 0 upward to over 40m and upwards to 150m+  post successful, acquisition. 

Through M&A, Steve also held the roles of VP of Product Development and eventually COO of publicly held company Interliant where he led a team of 600 across multiple disciplines. At Interliant, Steve was also on the team that rationalized and integrated over 20+ acquisitions for growth.

He has done business in multiple countries in EMEA and APAC and has negotiated partnership deals with well recognized partners including Cisco, Intel, IXIA, Microsoft, Motorola, EMC/Dell, Sun Microsystems, Emerson and Verizon.

Steve is passionate about helping companies grow and has been a Techstars start up mentor since 2009 and an active angel investor in a variety of companies.

Steve has a BS in Computer engineering from BU and is currently acting in a dual COO/CFO role at Associated Environmental Systems where he played a significant role in driving exponential growth and supporting operational efficiencies.
